Ultrasound Technology

Vevo 3100 High Resolution Ultrasound

Picture
This is the latest generation of high resolution ultrasound instrument. The Vevo 3100 provides researchers with a non-invasive anatomical image of tumors or normal abdominal organs with up to 30uM resolution. The platform includes an integrated motor assembly that can be used to generate 3D tumor volumes from a series of 2D slices. The Vevo 3100 instrument reduces speckle noise and artifacts while preserving and enhancing critical information for small animal in vivo studies. The ultrasound transducer is capable of imaging up to 70MHz, allowing multiple focal depths and improved feature detection.
