Facilities
The Olive Lab is located in the Irving Cancer Research Center and includes laboratory space on the 2nd floor, as well as the Mouse Hospital located in the barrier animal facility. The lab benefits from access to the 12 Shared Resources of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center as well as a variety of common equipment and facilities. In addition to a complete range of common molecular biology equipment, the lab has an Olympus BX-51 microscope with 3 heads for teaching pathology, and a VisualSonics Vevo 2100 High Resolution Ultrasound instrument for detecting, quantifying, and characterizing mouse pancreatic tumors.
