Vevo 2100 High Resolution Ultrasound
This is the latest generation of high resolution ultrasound instrument. The Vevo 2100 provides researchers with a non-invasive anatomical image of tumors or normal abdominal organs with up to 50uM resolution. The platform includes an integrated motor assembly that can be used to generate 3D tumor volumes from a series of 2D slices. The Vevo 2100 instrument features the first linear array ultrasound transducer capable of imaging in the 25-75MHz range, allowing multiple focal depths and improved feature detection. The non-linear contrast mode dramatically increases the signal-to-noise ration of contrast ultrasound applications and the VevoCQ module includes advanced contrast data analysis applications. These allow for non-targeted contrast measurements of tissue perfusion and blood flow as well as targeted contrast investigations of molecular expression in vivo.
